meditationWhat are Spiritual Experiences?

As defined by the Spiritual Science Research Foundation, the act of experiencing something through the use of any of the five senses which is beyond the comprehension of any of the five senses, intellect and mind is referred to as a spiritual experience.

Spiritual experiences can also be constituted of an event through the medium of the five senses, intellect and mind which mankind can not conclude the reason for.

The on going progression compromised of the practices of spiritual happenings makes our sixth sense active and that is when we begin experiencing some of the absolute cosmic elements. It can be something unexpected or something beyond our expectations which makes it a spiritual experience. The elements of these experiences beginning from water, fire, earth, air and the five senses being taste, smell, vision, sound and touch can prove to be sometimes very shocking in an experience.

There is a level of spiritual experiences in every single individual’s personality. Some people tend to have more experiences than others or they class a lot more instances as being their spiritual experiences.

-There is possibility of experiencing more spiritual experiences which are of a much higher level if your spiritual level is high.

-In some experiences the evil creatures we claim to have seen or thought of are based on mere illusions but we class them as being part of our spiritual experiences. -These are created by ghosts to frighten that individual.

-It is in the nature of humans that every one perceives happenings differently. Some may not perceive an occurrence as a spiritual experience while other people get consumed by the thought of having one. The sixth sense is one of the attributes of a person in their spiritual level.

-There is a possibility of a person attaining the Sainthood which is 70% of the spiritual level. This can happen without one perceiving through the five common senses. -This could be possible when the person has had spiritual experiences in the past and does not need them now.

When a person undertakes spiritual practice entirely based on the appropriate principles of the spiritual science, then one progresses in spiritual activities and starts getting spiritual experiences. Practicing actual instances minimizes the gap between the concept and principles as told in the books and having actually experienced the spiritual yourself. Being experienced in this way makes the person’s belief and faith firm in this theoretical knowledge.

Spiritual practices can be called appropriate and useful when the person seeking an experience gets one. The progress of the seeker can be determined by the level of spiritual experiences. These experiences can prove to be very encouraging and help us move further in our spiritual journey. But it requires continuous practice. If a person stops practicing the spiritual activities then there is no possibility of having any more spiritual experiences in the future. Practicing spiritual activities it is also important to increase the level of our spiritual progress by reducing our ego.
