There you are, walking through the parking lot of the local food mart when you step into a pot hole, splashing dirty-water all over yourself. You make your way through the supermarket soaked, making your usual rounds and then do your best to get out of there as fast as you can. Just when you think the bad day is over, you get home and see that your spouse has yet again done that one thing that drives you nuts! Yikes - is the world just out to get you today?!

If you are having one of those days, or quite possibly one of those years – you may be having trouble seeing the bigger picture. Far too many circumstances turn into devastating situations, for instance, divorce, getting fired from our jobs, walking out of the office, getting into fights with family members, all because at the time our emotions clouded our ability to see the true reality of our lives.

Meditation is a great way to clear your mind and get to the root of the problem. When we focus our energy on not what’s outward but inward, we will find that we have a well of strength to draw from.
