How Consciousness Science Leads To Development Of Human Nature
Consciousness Science is a branch of science that deals with the deeper understanding of consciousness. The way science works is to first propose something, carry out experiments and gather evidence to support the proposal. At the same time, the scientist has to be ready to work from scratch if unable to prove it. This method of work is very easy when used with the traditional branches of science such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and so on. However, the application of these steps is to be performed differently in conjunction with abstract issues like consciousness.
The Science Of Science
In the context of Consciousness Science, we must be in a position to give certain tangible estimates of feelings, sensations, vibrations, physical indications and mental images concerning the control group of people on whom some experiment is carried out to deduce facts. We need to develop certain indexes, metrics and units to express our observations in a way that is comprehensible for the scientists.
To achieve a better understanding of the concepts, we need to construct certain models to aid our research related to Consciousness Science. This is an ordeal because mapping abstract to physical is not child’s play and there is always a chance of weak representation due to the neglect of core elements.
Experimental Consciousness
Consciousness Science has been a very open ended area because “consciousness”, the word itself, means different things to different people. For instance, Reiki therapy has been very popular in new age circles for a long time. Many control groups have been observed in the past and the effects of Reiki treatment on a particular group and placebo on another group have been compared and the results have been astonishing. At times, the results were the same whereas in a few cases the patients have been actually healed by Reiki and thus the placebo could do nothing.
Activities like telling clairvoyants to see what is lying under a given inverted bowl or what is behind a curtain have also been carried out in the past. Scientists have observed that the experts under observation could give correct responses only when given a certain range of probability but then there were some people who could always do so. Consciousness Science also tries to establish how such capabilities develop or remain as is with practice over a period of time.
Spirituality And The Paranormal
A common perception could be that Consciousness Science is an attempt to explain the spiritual and paranormal phenomena from a scientific perspective. In fact, this is a nice way to bridge the gap between the two worlds - the expressed and the unexpressed, the known and the unknown - in a systematic way where correlation between them could be given a well defined area of analysis.
It is quite possible that mediation connects the aesthetics with some special waves which have not been represented on the spectrum. Maybe deeper states of meditation indicate perfect resonance between these waves and the individual concerned. Consciousness Science has the potential to open a new doorway here too.
There is a chance that the early human beings had an innate ability to look beyond the present existence as though they were watching a movie. This capability could have remained as is in a few people after further evolution took place and may have got transferred to their progeny via their DNA. Some people evolved in the technical sense. Others evolved with capabilities like clairvoyance that are attributed to the pineal gland or third eye. Does this eye number three really exist? How does it assist in developing extra sensory perception? Again, the experiments carried out in the stream of Consciousness Science seem to provide an answer!
Indeed the area of Consciousness Science is full of challenges and it is not yet known where the research will proceed. It is truly an endeavor to explain the unexplained.
The studies carried out in the premises of Consciousness Science could probably bring forth some explanation of the adage “spirituality/ religion starts where science ends” and there would be a better chance of bringing the untold and so far misunderstood aspects of science that have been brutally disregarded as superstition, coincidence, mind games, hallucination and so on under a fresh light.
